Got a Tie? Don’t wear it.
A dress? It’s ok, but not common...
Got blue jeans? That’s more like it.
We sure don’t have it all together. We just want to find God for our lives and give God His due. We need uplifting, not put down.
So no dress up, no offering plate...
- We do take a break for coffee and rolls so we can visit and laugh and encourage each other.
- We do take the Bible seriously, and try to follow after Jesus.
- We do lots of praying for each other.
So you are welcome, just the way you are.
Worship (Giving God his due) Sundays at 10 AM.
Prayer time Sundays at 5:30 PM
(small groups meet throughout the week)
Manna Bible Study and Lunch - Food for the soul and the body, Every Wednesday, 10AM, followed by lunch for those in the study.
Free “Ask a Lawyer” service - twice a month. (Second and Fourth Wednesday) See calendar for dates and times. Appointment required. Please call office (686-2131) One Day in ADVANCE for appointment.
Thrift shop - closed for indefinite future.
Mobile Medical Clinic - closed permanently due to loss of use of medical van.
Hilltop Urban Church serves "financially challenged" folks of our commuity who because of their past, disabilities, problems, race- whatever, you name it - have a hard time finding a place to be accepted and belong, a place where they can grow in Jesus and be somebody in the Kingdom of God!

Children's Ministry is now lead by community leaders
A children's ministry team ("CMT") made up of community residents now leads children's ministry. This reflects our church's transition from a staff lead, outside volunteer intensive program model to a grassroots community based approach.
Current Ministries
Sunday morning children's church (Nursery - 5th grade) during the message and table groups time.
Ministries "on hold"
Wednesday evening Cross Followers Bible Club will not be offered this fall.
Academic tutoring will not be offered this fall. See link to volunteer opportunites for more information.

 The Hilltop Urban Youth Ministry exists to:
- Reflect Jesus Christ, His love, His ways, His attitude
- Adopt an alternative life, a “What would Jesus do?” life.
- Produce Disciples, committed followers of Jesus that can teach others to follow Jesus

Sad News! The Mobile Medical Clinic is closing. We no longer have the van available. The clinic's final Visit is Wednesday, June 26th, 1:00-3:00 PM.
Sunday: Join us as we look at being a citizen of heaven while being a citizen of this country.
Free Ask an Attorney is on the Second and Fourth Wednesday at 1 PM. Call one day before to make appointment.
